One day my children, Joe & Lory, then grade-school age, were in our living room, laughing uproariously. I went to the living room & asked them what was so funny. After Joe managed to get a hold of himself, he told me that Lory had invented a new word. Lory then burst out “Komalius” before collapsing into gales of laughter. Komalius, once our family's secret word, is now the name of this blog.
